Half burgundy leather on spine and corners with rose-colored cloth on boards. Gilt lettering on spine and gilt edging on panels. Upper page edges are gilt. Side and lower page edges are age-toned. Spine gutters are rubbed. Edges at head and tail of board spine are rubbed through. Front board panel is partially separate along spine: 1 3/4″ at front corner at head of spine, 2 1/4″ at front corner at tail of spine. All fore-edge corners and adjacent board edges are rubbed through. Most of the leather on the lower edges is rubbed through. Front and back inside gutters at end-papers are cracked. The fold-out map at page 1 is included but separated from text. Internally clean and stable in spine of the gutter cracks.
